RLS Course

training of the Workers' Safety Representative

AT HOME

IN THE CLASSROOM

The RLS course is carried out in compliance with the provisions of the current reference legislation Legislative Decree 81/08, which attributes a fundamental role to individuals who in various capacities are involved in the management of health and safety at work.

The RLS, acronym for Workers’ Safety Representative, is a mandatory figure and covers a very important task within companies, for this reason it must be appropriately trained. The RLS is elected or designated by workers, to represent them in all aspects of health and safety at work; in fact it is the first control body on the efficiency of the company’s safety engine. Legislative Decree 81/08 provides for RLS training dedicated to this figure, and art. 37 in paragraph 11 describes the duration and contents of the training course.

It is necessary to carry out the rls update every year, with a variable duration (4 or 8 hours) based on the number of company employees.

Theoretical tests will be carried out to evaluate the knowledge acquired during the RLS course; a certificate of participation/training will be issued to those who successfully pass them.
