Work at Height Course

Work at Heights Course, for work activities that expose the worker to the risk of falls, from a height greater than 2 meters above a stable surface.
Article 115 of Legislative Decree 81/2008 describes the fall arrest systems necessary if the required collective protection measures have not been adopted. Article 77 of Legislative Decree 81/2008 imposes the obligation of training and practical training on the correct use of category III PPE, including fall arrest devices, for all workers who must use them. The Work at Heights course is carried out together with the 3rd Category PPE course, and includes both a theoretical and a practical part.
The course has a total duration of 8 hours and expires every five years. To update training it is necessary to attend the 4-hour Work at Height Update.
Theoretical and practical tests will be carried out to evaluate the knowledge acquired during the course; a certificate of participation/training will be issued to those who successfully pass them.
